Kim Kardashian once again proved she’s a Met Gala mainstay, arriving in a jaw-dropping, head-turning ensemble at the 2025 Met Gala in New York City. This year, the SKIMS founder embraced high drama in a custom crocodile leather two-piece set by Chrome Hearts, featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline, open back, and long, trailing train.
Elevating the edgy look were her luxurious accessories — cascading strings of pearls, a multi-strand diamond necklace, and a bold leather hat, making her one of the most talked-about stars of the evening.
A Look That Aligns With the Theme
This year’s Met Gala spotlighted the Costume Institute’s 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion. Curated by Andrew Bolton, the exhibit explores the artistry and identity of Black dandyism from the 18th century to the modern day. 
The 2025 Met Gala theme — “Tailored for You” — celebrated individuality through sharp suiting and tailored silhouettes, with Kim’s structured leather ensemble offering a striking, avant-garde interpretation of the dress code.
