Kim, Kylie, and Kendall Attended—But These Two Didn’t
While Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner dazzled at the 2025 Met Gala, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian were absent from the high-profile event. Unlike their sisters, who are regulars at the gala, Khloé and Kourtney have only attended once—in 2022. Therefore, their decision to skip this year’s event didn’t come as a major surprise.
A Quiet Year for the Two Sisters
So far in 2025, both Khloé and Kourtney have kept a low public profile. Most of their activity has revolved around filming their Hulu reality show, The Kardashians. Khloé’s last public appearance was at Hulu’s “Get Real House” event on April 23. Meanwhile, Kourtney was last seen on the red carpet at the postponed 2023 Emmys, held on January 15, 2024.
Compared to their more visible sisters, they’ve clearly chosen to focus on privacy and personal priorities. 
Khloé Reveals a Shift in Career Priorities
In a December interview with Bustle, Khloé shared how her mindset about work has changed in her 40s. Initially, she was amazed by how people could earn money by simply wearing sponsored items.
“When I first started in this industry, someone offered me money just to wear a sweater,” she recalled. “I thought, ‘You get paid to wear a sweater?’ It blew my mind.”
However, her approach has evolved. She now avoids promoting anything she doesn’t fully support. According to her, “I could do cash grabs all day. I could be on OnlyFans or doing outrageous things—but that’s just not who I am.”
A Fresh Start in Her 40s
Turning 40 has been empowering for Khloé. In her words, “When you’re young, you think 40 is so old. Now I’m like, ‘Wait—I feel amazing!’”
She feels stronger, more focused, and excited about trying new things. At 39, she intentionally closed chapters from her 30s. “I called it shedding,” she said. “Shedding that energy, mindset, and decade. My 40s are already incredible, and I know they’ll only get better.”
Given this new outlook, it makes sense that Khloé and Kourtney are stepping back from flashy events like the Met Gala. They seem to be focusing more on what truly matters in their lives.
