Congratulations are for Adam David, who was officially crowned the winner of The Voice Season 27 on Tuesday, May 20. The emotional victory marked a back-to-back win for coach Michael Bublé, who ran to hug David as soon as the announcement was made.

“I love you, man,” Bublé said. “You’re my kind of artist… Congratulations, I knew you’d get here.”

David triumphed over fellow finalists Jadyn Cree (Team Bublé), Jaelen Johnston (Team Ballerini), Lucia Flores Wiseman (Team Levine), and RENZO (Team Legend).

Hailing from South Florida, David began playing guitar at age 8. On the show, he was open about his journey through addiction and recovery. Now six years sober, he regularly performs at rehabilitation centers, using music to inspire others on similar paths.

“I was always kinda like coming out with little, simple melody things on the guitar. I was just having fun,” David told Deepest Dream. “It’s a scary thing to put yourself out there. And just to know that I have so much support from people that I don’t even know is a special thing for me.”

During his blind audition, Bublé was the only coach to turn his chair — a decision that paid off in the most rewarding way. Even after facing elimination in the semifinals and needing an instant save, David powered through to win the finale.
