TikTok personality Delaney Rowe has opened up about difficulties in her personal life, sharing that her current partner doesn’t fully trust her — a revelation that comes amid swirling rumors of a romance with The Office star B.J. Novak.
During a recent episode of the Boy Problems podcast with host Liz Plank, Rowe, 29, reflected on her current relationship dynamics, though she avoided naming names. “I’m not like, you know the cuffs aren’t on, like I’m not fully boo’ed up, but I am dating and it’s going okay,” she said.
She admitted that early in the relationship, she was the one hesitant to commit. “I was the problem, and I had to sort of reconcile with that recently,” she said. “I was noncommittal for a long period when he was very sure. And now I am sure, and he’s like, ‘I don’t trust your intentions at this point.’”
Social media users quickly jumped in to criticize the unnamed man. On Reddit and X (formerly Twitter), fans accused him of emotionally manipulative behavior. “He’s trying to make her prove herself so he can control her,” one post read. Others labeled the dynamic “emotionally abusive” and a classic case of “toxic relationship behavior.”
Delaney was first linked to B.J. Novak, 45, in November 2024, after the two were seen together at The Official How Long Gone After Party in NYC. Speculation intensified when they were spotted again at the Bowery Hotel in December.
Meanwhile, Novak’s close and often ambiguous friendship with The Office co-star Mindy Kaling continues to spark intrigue. Though the two have long denied any current romantic involvement, Kaling has called Novak an “important and integral” part of her family, and he is the godfather of her daughter.
As of now, representatives for both Delaney Rowe and B.J. Novak have not commented on the relationship speculation.
