DJI has once again raised the bar with the Mavic 4 Pro. This advanced drone features a triple-camera system and a full 360-degree gimbal. As a result, content creators now have more control, flexibility, and creative freedom than ever before.

Three Cameras, Endless Possibilities

The Mavic 4 Pro includes three focal lengths—28 mm, 70 mm, and 168 mm. Switching between them is easy with a single tap. This setup allows creators to frame shots exactly as they envision.

Additionally, DJI introduced the new Infinity Gimbal. It supports 360° horizontal rotation and 70° vertical tilt. Therefore, users can capture dynamic angles that were previously difficult or impossible.

Hasselblad Camera Delivers Stunning Quality

At the core of this drone is a 100MP Four Thirds Hasselblad camera. It features a wide F2.0–F11 aperture and offers excellent low-light performance. Thanks to Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution, images appear sharp, true to life, and incredibly detailed.

Advanced Telephoto Options for Cinematic Depth

The 48MP medium telephoto camera has a 1/1.3-inch sensor and uses a next-gen processing engine. As a result, it produces enhanced image quality with compressed perspectives.

The third camera is a 50MP long-range telephoto lens with a wide F2.8 aperture. It captures faraway subjects clearly and also excels at shooting detailed panoramas—from sweeping skylines to dense cityscapes.

Impressive Video Performance

All three cameras shoot 4K video at 60 fps and support 10-bit D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG color profiles. However, the main camera goes further with 6K HDR at 60 fps and 16 stops of dynamic range.

For slow-motion effects, the main and medium tele cameras shoot 4K at 120 fps. Meanwhile, the long-range lens manages 4K at 100 fps.

Intelligent Flight and Long Battery Life

The drone uses six fish-eye sensors and dual processors for smart obstacle avoidance. It can detect and dodge objects even at 18 m/s (40 mph). Impressively, it reaches a top speed of 90 km/h (56 mph).

The 95-Wh battery supports up to 51 minutes of flight time. This could give a flight range of up to 41 km (25.4 miles) in ideal conditions.

Next-Level Transmission and Storage

The included RC 2 controller uses DJI’s O4+ transmission system. This setup can stream 10-bit HDR footage from up to 30 km (18.6 miles) away.

Moreover, the drone includes up to 512 GB of internal storage, giving creators peace of mind during long sessions.

Price and Availability

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is currently not available in the United States. DJI has cited changing market conditions for the delay. However, the drone is launching in Europe starting May 13. Prices are as follows:

  • Basic Package: £1,879 (~US$2,485) – 64 GB storage, 1 battery, RC 2 controller
