The Powerball jackpot rose to $207 million for the Saturday, May 31 drawing, following no jackpot winner from the Wednesday, May 28 drawing. If a player matches all five white balls and the red Powerball, they can choose a one-time cash payout of approximately $91 million.
So far in 2025, there have been three Powerball jackpot winners. The most recent was on April 26, when a Kentucky player won $167.3 million. Earlier, an Oregon resident claimed $328.5 million on January 18, and another winner took home $527 million on March 29.
The winning numbers for the May 31 draw will be posted after the official drawing. Powerball drawings take place three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday—shortly after 11 p.m. ET.
If there’s a winner for the May 31 drawing, lottery officials will announce the results. If not, the jackpot will roll over and grow for the next drawing scheduled on Monday, June 2.
How to Play Powerball
Playing Powerball costs $2 per ticket. Participants choose five white ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. A “Power Play” option can be added for $1 to multiply non-jackpot winnings up to 10 times.
For those who prefer not to select their own numbers, the “Quick Pick” feature generates random numbers automatically. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six numbers drawn.
Where to Buy Tickets
Powerball tickets can be purchased in person at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, and some airport terminals. In select U.S. states and territories, such as New York, New Jersey, Colorado, and Washington D.C., tickets can also be purchased online via licensed digital lottery couriers like Jackpocket.
As always, participants must meet the minimum age requirement in their state and should play responsibly. The excitement builds with every draw, and the opportunity to win big draws millions into the Powerball lottery each week.
Stay tuned for the latest results and updates as the Powerball jackpot continues to grow.
