Shakira brought high energy, iconic dance moves, and decades of hits to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, as she launched the Texas leg of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour”. The Colombian superstar delivered a two-hour spectacle that left over 40,000 fans singing, dancing, and celebrating every era of her legendary career.
As fans entered the stadium, excitement filled the air. Many dressed in homage to Shakira’s most iconic looks—from hip scarves and purple wigs to wolf ears and flowing waves, the Arlington audience came ready to honor the queen of Latin pop.
The show kicked off around 9:15 p.m. as Shakira entered with her band of “Lobas” (Wolves), immediately lighting up the stage. Dressed in white with gold details, the Grammy-winner began with “La Fuerte” and “A Girl Like Me,” launching a dynamic and emotionally rich concert that featured over 20 songs and nearly a dozen costume changes.
A Bilingual, Visual Experience
The concert was divided into themed musical blocks, each introduced with a music video on giant screens, featuring hits from every chapter of Shakira’s three-decade career. The bilingual format—with Spanish narration and English translations—ensured that every fan felt seen and connected.
She moved seamlessly from early classics like “Estoy Aquí,” “Ojos Así,” and “Inevitable” to modern anthems like “Te Felicito,” “TQG,” and “Acróstico”—the last of which featured a touching video appearance from her sons, Sasha and Milan.
Throughout the performance, Shakira celebrated her Latin and Arabic roots, incorporating their influence into her choreography, stage visuals, and fashion. She also delivered a powerful message in Spanish:
“We women, after every fall, get up stronger, tougher, and if we want to cry, we cry. If we don’t want to cry, we make money.”
Crowd Favorites and Texas Surprises
Fan-favorite hits like “Antología,” “La Tortura,” “Don’t Bother,” “Underneath Your Clothes,” and “Waka Waka” brought the crowd to its feet. A special Texas treat came when a mariachi band joined her on stage for stunning renditions of “Ciega, Sordomuda” and “El Jefe.”
Shakira closed the night with “She Wolf” and the viral hit “BZRP Music Sessions #53”, leaving fans breathless and emotional as she said goodbye to Arlington.
This performance marked her return to Dallas-Fort Worth for the first time since her 2018 “El Dorado World Tour.” Her North American tour continues in San Antonio (June 13), Houston (June 15–16), Los Angeles (June 20), Phoenix (June 22–23), San Diego (June 26), Las Vegas (June 28), and San Francisco (June 30).
