Tammy Hembrow and Matt Zukowski have announced their separation after just seven months of marriage. The 31-year-old Australian fitness influencer shared the emotional news on TikTok, confirming that she and Zukowski, 29, are heading for divorce.
The pair got engaged in December 2023 after three months of dating and married on November 23, 2024. Speaking candidly in her video on June 21, 2025, Hembrow described the decision as heartbreaking, admitting she never expected their marriage to end so soon.
“This is giving me so much anxiety … I wanted to finally tell you guys that I am going to be getting a divorce,” she said. Holding back tears, she added, “Did I think this was gonna happen? Did I want this? No. Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it’s gonna be forever.” 
Hembrow said she holds herself accountable, acknowledging a pattern of making poor relationship choices. “I feel like I’ve made not the best choices when it comes to relationships. And I feel like I’m really good at putting on rose-colored glasses or just getting swept up in it all.”
The couple previously shared that they had an “instant connection” after meeting online. Hembrow told Vogue Australia that from their first date, they were inseparable.
Hembrow, a mother of three, said the most painful part of the split is the impact on her children: son Wolf, 10, and daughter Saskia, 8, from her relationship with Reece Hawkins, and daughter Posy, 3, from her relationship with Matt Poole.
“I don’t care about me, like, I know I’ll be okay, but I obviously feel awful,” she said. “Nothing anyone could say could make me feel more s— than I already do.”
She ended her message by saying she’s now focused on healing and being there for her kids. “There’s a lesson in everything, and hopefully this time I learn it.”
Matt Zukowski also addressed the split in an Instagram Story, writing, “It’s with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate… We need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children.”
